Cover Artist
One of my favorite things to do
as a Publisher is find Cover art. While visiting Highlands, NC, I found an
artist and former Florida resident, Corey James. After Hurricane Wilma
destroyed his gallery on Las Olas Blvd in Ft. Lauderdale, he moved to Western
North Carolina in 2005. This beautiful piece is his rendition of a migrating
elephant.
Elephants represent spiritual
happiness. With their determined strength, they are nurturing and loyal to
family, providing protection—often at all costs.
Corey shares, “To me, art is a
window to another realm. It’s a door. And everybody sees something different when
they look at it.” In order to share these otherworldly opportunities, he opened
his gallery and art consignment shop where he houses works of art he has
created, as well as other master pieces including bronze sculptures, wood
carvings, Tiffany style lamps, furnishings and collectibles.
