Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp is hosting Spirit of Enlightenment Gala Day from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, August 13, 2022. The event includes a Kids’ Zone, educational speakers and readings by camp-certified mediums and vendors.  

Tickets for speakers and readings will be available at the information booth or you can book online. Speakers topics include: “You, the Ascended Master,” “Astrology: The Language of Your Soul,” “Your Spiritual Toolbox,” “Going Back to the Drawing Board,” “Metaphysics and the Third Dimension,” “Simple Changes to Better Health” and “Understanding Electronic Communication with Spirit.” 

The Kids’ Zone, at the Fairy Trail includes a Bucket of Crystals; a scavenger hunt with a grand prize for the first three to complete and tokens for others (while supplies last); story time; and a craft table. New at the trail: Rev. Dr. Constance Johnson will lead attendees through a 15-minute walkabout of the Fairy Trail (11am & 2pm), pointing out fairies, sprites, green man, brownies (not edible), fairy homes, gnome houses, dragons, portals (spirit elevators) and a magical labyrinth. 

Street vendors will be selling crystals, jewelry, clothing, natural soaps and more. Food trucks will be near the Colby Memorial Temple. There will be a 50/50 and treasure chest raffle. The first 100 attendees will receive swag bags. A book sale will also be held at the B. Anne Gehman Library. 

Cost: $25 for a 15-minute reading; $5 for a ticket for each speaker; $8 for a Bucket of Crystals (while supplies last). Tickets are available at the Info Booth or online at Cassadaga.org. Central location: 1112 Stevens Street in Cassadaga (GPS city: Lake Helen).
