Get in the Spirit of the Season with Voctave

The Bach Festival Society of Winter Park returns this season with a special guest at the Central Park West Meadow on Sunday, December 13 at 3:00 pm. Rollins College ensemble-in-residence and renowned vocal group Voctave presents the performance debut of the group’s newly released Christmas album, Spirit of the Season, accompanied by the Bach Festival Orchestra. Their new album has already created notable success for the group and is in contention for a possible Grammy nomination. Rollins College professor Jamey Ray’s bright and gorgeous arrangements, in collaboration with orchestrations by Grammy-winner David T. Clydesdale, are featured on the album and will be brought to life by the Bach Festival Orchestra conducted by John V. Sinclair.

Since this will be their only holiday performance this season, get your tickets early! To support a safe and comfortable concert experience, a variety of seating options allowing for social distancing will be available in this outdoor venue. Tables with seating for up to four will start at $75/chair, standalone chairs for $50, and a “bring your own seating” option for $25 per person. Guests may bring their own refreshments, and Park Avenue’s restaurants offer a variety of options for purchase within walking distance. Tickets may be purchased at BachFestivalFlorida.org or 407-646-2182.

Cannot make this date? The Bach Festival Society will continue offering digital concerts via Bach at Home: high-quality, multi-camera recordings of its Rollins College concert programs. Visit: BachFestivalFlorida.org for all the recordings.
