Florida Herbal Conference Open to All

Feb 01, 2020 03:22PM ● By Margaret Mary Jones

Hosted by the Florida School of Holistic Living, based in Winter Park, the 9th annual Florida Herbal Conference will be held Feb 28 – Mar 1 in Lake Wales, FL.

Legendary storyteller and botanist Doug Elliott and sound healer and herbalist B Anderson will be the featured keynote speakers. These speakers will be sharing their wisdom alongside statewide herbal teachers. Over 40 workshops, plant walks, and classes throughout the weekend, ranging from Clinical Herbalism to Kitchen and Garden medicine will be offered. Recreational activities such as drumming, yoga, singing, and canoeing provide a variety of options to unwind and relax under the beautiful live oak trees.

Participants will also enjoy evening programs including interactive musical experiences and
a drumming circle around the fire. Visitors can take home treasures from artisans and crafters
from the Herbal Marketplace. The program will inspire and enliven you, making this an event
you won’t want to miss. Ten Continuing Education Credits are available to licensed massage
therapists, midwives, nurses, acupuncture physicians, and dietitians who attend the full weekend.
Single day passes are available, and a youth program offers special programming for children.

Camping is included in registration; indoor cabin lodging and weekend meal plans are also available. Proceeds of the conference benefit United Plant Savers. Use the code NATURALAWAKE for a $25 discount on full weekend registration! To register, or learn more, visit www.FloridaHerbalConference.org
